We would like to acknowledge the time, energy and enthusiasim of the many young volunteers who tirelessly worked on Uchaguzi. Remotely or on sitroom, the Social Development Network lauds your efforts that were significantly responsible in ensuring that reports were amplified in time to authorities. We cannot thank you enough!
We also pay tribute to team Ushahidi for the magical moments. It has been a joy in partnering with some of the greatest minds of our century.
SODNET is an indigenous organisation, established by Non-governmental Organization (NGOs) workers from Kenya as a facility for reflection and action by local groups on causes and consequences of poverty and disempowerment of communities. It aims at facilitating effective strategic alliances among interested people’s and social movements to influence policy-on issues of social development, in particular on resource management, globalisation and information.
