Open Budget Index
The budget Tracking Tool enables you to view projects funded by CDF and LATF. The tool can also be accessed by SMS by sending a text message to 3002. e.g. constituency#project (westlands#water).
SODNET launched the Open Budget Index (OBI) Report in February of 2009 in Nairobi inviting participants from Uganda, Sudan, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya. The Index is a measure of the level of accessibility of the budget to the citizen.
